The grounds feature a Gothic Chapel built in the late 1800s and a burial plot including the remains of more than 1,600 Confederate soldiers who died in Indianapolis as prisoners of war. This beautiful cemetary is home to an extraordinary 100 species of trees. To reach the 34th STREET ENTRANCE at 34th Street and Boulevard Place: turn right (east) on 38th St. to Boulevard Place (2nd stop light) and turn right (south).
