14 West is highly recommended for its fabulous yet un-fussy fare.  Beware of overindulging on Gorgonzola spread served with Pretzel Bread while making your menu selection.  For appetizers, the Tuna Tartare is sumptuous, as well as the hearty Duck Satay.  The yellow tail snapper and  pork chop with pear chutney are also highly recommended.  Other tempting choices include crisp black striped bass served with Shiitake mushrooms and saffron broth -- or panned scallops prepared with a smoked bacon emulsion.
For dessert:   try the Calypso -  sponge cake layers with pureed mango and chocolate, or the Lemon Tart.  

Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
