At the heart of Oldfields is Lilly House, the 22-room mansion that was once home of J.K. Lilly Jr., the late Indianapolis businessman, collector and philanthropist. Lilly House features eight historic rooms on the main level. All but one of these rooms have been restored to the 1930s period of the Lilly family's occupancy (the Loggia has been restored to its appearance during the 1950s). The second level is comprised of educational exhibits. The house is also popular for being located on 26 acres of the area's most stunning and popular gardens.
